Yara Pocklington launches new Online Ordering

A replacement for the withdrawn Yara Phosyn ‘Online Ordering’ and ‘Order Template’ systems has now been developed in cooperation with First4Farming (F4F) - an ebusiness provider formed from a consortium of the market leaders of every aspect of agriculture in the UK.

Yara UK Ltd was a founding Equity Partner of the consortium and is currently represented on the Board by Tove Andersen, Commercial Director UK, and more recently Egil Hogna, Business Unit Manager Mediterranean, has also joined the Board of First4Farming Europe. Prior to beginning this Project in Pocklington, F4F had already developed B2B connections with some of Yara UK’s largest merchant customers, and also built Online Ordering Portals for smaller merchants and customers in the UK and Italy.

For Yara Pocklington, the roll-out has begun with Yara New Zealand who have, so far, submitted 20 purchase orders for product. Nina French and her Customer Services Team will shortly be contacting all non-International SAP customers to guide them through the simple process of creating their first orders online.

As well as placing new orders, customers will also be able to track the progress of their orders up to the point of despatch and also print off copies of Despatch Notes, Export Packing Lists and Invoices. A planned future development will also enable customers to link directly from F4F to the online tracking service of the carrier delivering their order to monitor the delivery right through to arrival.
